Although located in the commune of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the Duna Munguy <\/strong>campsite borders the small village of Gu\u00e9thary<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now world-famous for its surf spots and quality of life, Gu\u00e9thary was once a quiet fishing village on the Basque coast. During your stay with us, be sure to visit the village of Gu\u00e9thary, its little port, its pediment and its pretty little church. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ask at Gu\u00e9thary town hall<\/a> for a guided tour, or simply stroll along and enjoy a drink on one of the many sea-view terraces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What to see in Saint-Jean-de-Luz<\/h2>\n\n\n

Set off from our campsite with swimming pool in the Basque Country<\/a> for a lovely walk along the coastal path to the town center of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. On the way, you’ll pass Pointe Sainte-Barbe, offering spectacular views over the bay with La Rhune in the background… A real highlight! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that’s just the beginning of your exploration of this charming seaside resort. Follow the promenade along the long beach<\/strong> to admire the typical architecture of the gateway houses. Once you’ve reached the lighthouse, continue on to the famous fishing port of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Enjoy a gourmet break at Les Halles, where you’ll discover local specialties, or take a seat on one of the pleasant terraces in the town center. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To round off your day, stroll through the pedestrian streets for a shopping session and take time to visit the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church.
