Although located in the commune of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the Duna Munguy campsite borders the small village of Guéthary.

Now world-famous for its surf spots and quality of life, Guéthary was once a quiet fishing village on the Basque coast. During your stay with us, be sure to visit the village of Guéthary, its little port, its pediment and its pretty little church.

Ask at Guéthary town hall for a guided tour, or simply stroll along and enjoy a drink on one of the many sea-view terraces.

Take advantage of your stay to learn about local customs and watch a game of Basque pelota on the fronton square, which also houses the village’s pretty town hall.
