What to see in Saint-Jean-de-Luz
Set off from our campsite with swimming pool in the Basque Country for a lovely walk along the coastal path to the town center of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. On the way, you’ll pass Pointe Sainte-Barbe, offering spectacular views over the bay with La Rhune in the background… A real highlight!
And that’s just the beginning of your exploration of this charming seaside resort. Follow the promenade along the long beach to admire the typical architecture of the gateway houses. Once you’ve reached the lighthouse, continue on to the famous fishing port of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Enjoy a gourmet break at Les Halles, where you’ll discover local specialties, or take a seat on one of the pleasant terraces in the town center.
To round off your day, stroll through the pedestrian streets for a shopping session and take time to visit the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church.
